This short comic began as a media experiment in combining traditional and digital media in a truly 50/50 split in a comic. I set it on the Oregon coast because that’s a beautiful area that would allow me to play around with a few different type of environments (ocean and forest and mountains all right next to each other!). The subject matter came from an idea I’d been playing around with for a while, of the macro idea of aliens mirroring the micro idea of navigating one’s own relationships with other people.
